The Suzuki program builds on the principle that if surrounded by a nurturing environment, all children can master music just as they learn their home language.

Music Therapy

Music Therapy

BKCM is among NYC’s largest providers of clinical music therapy, serving more than 2,000 people of all ages and abilities. Our credentialed music therapists work with clients at BKCM and at more than 40 community outreach sites citywide.

Music Partners

Music Partners

Music Partners was created in 1988 in response to a critical need: the rising number of NYC public schools offering no music instruction. It now serves nearly 4,000 students at 35 schools, youth centers and senior centers in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens, making it the largest off-site music program of any community school in New York City.

Community Music Center

Community Music Center

The BKCM Community Music Center in Cypress Hills/East New York offers private instrument lessons, a Saturday Band Acadmy and a summer camp to students aged 1 to 14, at little to no cost.

Rentals at BKCM

Space Rentals & Rehearsals

BKCM has several rental opportunities available to the community and fellow musicians. Host a recital at the Concert Hall, plan a special event in the Garden, or write your next album in one of BKCM’s 17 on-site, Steinway-equipped music studios.

Online Registration

Registration for many BKCM classes, lessons and ensembles takes place over the phone, but you can register many of our intro-level classes 100% online, in a matter of minutes!
